Randomness #9

Good old randomness.  I realize that everything on this blog is random, but in these posts the randomness is  even more quick and in small bursts.

Did I mention my greatest fear is wasps?  Totally wasps.  Bees and bumblebees aren't great either but there's a certain debilitating fear of the sickening hanging legs of the most vile insect upon the face of this earth.  This might stem from the 1.5 inch pitch black wasps that occasionally plagued my yard in summer when I was a kid.  Those.  Were.  Terrifying.

So... I .... might be possibly acknowledging the notion of the possibility for the potential attempt at asking someone out.  Like, for more than just... asking someone out.  I mean, it's very slightly possible.  In that I'm unsure whether there is some sort of "feelings" for her, but I'm also pretty sure that there aren't not feelings. Man, I WOULD think this 3 weeks before finals.

Apple juice is delicious!

Oh crap, I have clean checks today!  And a midterm!  And I'm donating blood!  MAN I'm glad I withdrew from Chemistry.  I would absolutely die today if I hadn't.

I try to give blood a lot.  It's giving without doing much more than laying there... and bleeding.

I realized the other day how downright terrible I am at recycling.  I could do much better at that, though honestly I question just how useful recycling some things are.  I've that recycling paper takes more energy than planting trees, but that might be wrong.

My vlog has been getting better and getting more views!  One of my next posts will include a piano and me not playing it.  Someone will be playing it, but not me.

If I had a million dollars... I'd... pay for school... then... umm... buy a really nice camera and other sorts of recording equipment... then... then I'm not a sure.  I'd buy you a fur coat, but not a real fur coat that's cruel.

I hav never punched someone with serious intent of causing harm.  Ever.

I got offered weed while I was walking on a sidewalk by a bunch of guys in a beat up car, who had stopped at a stoplight.  I turned these entrepreneurs down.

Feelin' pretty good today,

Randomness #8

It's been forever since I did an installment of Randomness!  Heck, my first one was almost an entire year ago!  Is this blog really that old?  Go figure.  A lot has happened in a year.  Eh, whatever, let's get to the random stuffz.

Snoring is evil.  Seriously, it's one bodies way of secretly trying to destroy the world one sleep deprived roommate at a time.  It's gonna get us!

Word of the day is Portend: To foreshadow.  Your slight interest in that portends that you will continue reading.  Unless you're a jerk who likes to feel smugly superior by deliberately not reading on just to prove me wrong.  Only you will know.

We were filmed in ballroom dance.  I didn't have a partner until the last minute, and it was someone I never practiced with before... it did not go very well.  However,  I still think I'm doing pretty well in that class.

Asiago bagels here are not very good.  Taste kind of like cheesy earwax >:P .

Pizza bagels here are amazing!  I would eat them everyday except that I wouldn't.  Cuz then they would get gross.

Let's cook an egg on the pavement, but not eat it.  Because that would be gross.  Because of the sediment.  F#!@ THAT S%#@!  Look how hilarious I can be.

Dry British humor is the best around.  I believe this because you have to have a quick wit to catch half of it.  You also have to have a decent intelligence (usually) to get some of it.  That way you're actually expanding your mind when you watch British shows.  Like Doctor Who.  It makes me smart.

I make some pretty dang freakin' good snickerdoodles.  They are much better than your grandma's.

Programming in Java comes very easily to some people.  I am not one of those people.  I think I MIGHT have basic HTML down.  Clearly being a web designer is out of the question for me.  That was never really in my consideration, though.

Boy, there's a lot of sex jokes on the internet.  It's almost as if people laugh at them.  Oh, but they do.  How crass.

Now poop.  Poop is refined humor.

I have probably proposed to more men then women.  Obviously this was done in jest, and I'm probably not bisexual.  ...  Hmm...  Well...  No, I'm not bisexual.  I've liked only women in any beyond-a-friend way.

Scratch that, I don't like anyone, you're all scum and love is dead.  (Imagine that said in a serious deadpan voice.)

Ooooooook, maybe you're not scum.  No, you're probably nice people.  I like you guys.  (Still deadpan.)

I wonder if there's more shy people in the world than outgoing ones.  We'd never be able to get a very accurate count of them, cuz they're shy.  I can say that cuz I'm shy.  In public anyways, on my blog I'll tell you anything, right down to a rash on me bum.

No rash, btw.

Well, that was fun wasn't it?  I'm glad you think so.  You really enjoyed it?  What the heck is wrong with you?  It's just some guy writing whatever pops into his addled mind.  You people are weird.
Oh alright...
Love you all!

Randomness #7

I'm in class, but it's taken boredom to a whole new level of uniqueness...  Plus the notes are online, and it looks like all the test answers are there, but I guess I'm old fashioned and I actually go to the lectures.  The subject is one I'm actually interested in (Psychology).

-Ocarina of Time took my whole day yesterday and I only got through the water temple (otherwise known as the impossible temple) I confess I used the walkthrough a bit.

-I'm pretty sure I've got a slight fever that was worse last night.  Oh dear.

-To me, there's hardly any difference between a chocolate muffin and chocolates cupcakes, besides the frosting.  Apparently they're quite differently made, but frankly I just think they are both delicious (though I confess to feeling better about myself if I choose the muffin for some reason.)

-New Vlogs out!  Pretty fun stuff there!  Also, Aaron has a Vlog too, which you can link to from mine if you feel so inclined.

-I want a recumbent bicycle...  Badly.  Also on the "odd transportation that seems awesome to me" list:  Segway.

-When I said segway I though of subway, which might be my favorite restaurant on campus.  On a related note, my student dining card has a HUGE money back up because I don't eat much (which is to the fault of the church and athletic camps here, they clog up lines!) so I've actually just bought random people food.  Technically I bought a girl dinner.  Yay?

-The new Harry Potter movie is out soon, which I guess I'm pretty excited for.  I'm not a Harry Potter super fan, but I do enjoy the series as well as most of the movies (the fourth movie was not top-notch).

-I would never hate someone because they were beautiful.  Unless they told me "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful"... then there might be a bad taste in my mouth.

-Actually, I've noticed a change in how attractive a person seems to me based on their personality.  An example is when I asked a girl who at first looked quite fine in my eye, but she rejected me in a cold manner and then I found out that she actually had the personality of a nearly dead horse.  Curiously, though she didn't change her outer image at all, I could not for the life of me find her beautiful anymore.

-How now brown tow-truck?  (wait... what?)

-I think my favorite pieve of Classical music would definitely have to be Mozarts Symphony 40 in G minor.  For Baroque, Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor, which I realize is just generic Bach, but I've actually listened to his other works, so I can actually claim it.  His "little" fugue in G minor is also good.  Though I admit I'm a sucker for any pipe organ song in a minor key.  Oh I'm in Music 202 by the way.  I dislike renaissance music for the most part and we haven't started Romantic Era yet, though arguably Beethoven has a romantic sound to his works.

-I'm not depressed today!

Randomness #6

Here we go!  More random things jumping from my brain.  Won't be easy, I've got a headache...

I'm constantly plagued with the thought of what I would say if I was met by aliens or some other supernatural life form, if they came up to me and said, "So, tell me about your home!"  Seriously, will I even take it naturally that they're right there?  Probably, since I've seen movies... but it would be REAL!  Oh man!

Another thought:  If I was bestowed with amazing superpowers to do something pretty destructive, would the government try to draft me?  Would I go?  Hmm....

I someday hope that they make antigravity belts, I'd have a blast harassing geese.

DANG IT FACEBOOK!  STOP TELLING ME PEOPLE WHO I WANT TO CHAT WITH ARE ONLINE WHEN THEY REALLY AREN'T.

I almost never joined Facebook when it was still getting crazy.  I wonder what would've happened if I hadn't ever... What if I dropped it now?  Hmmm....

I'm gonna go on an adventure!  Maybe not today, but someday soon!  I've GOT to!

Wait, who just climbed through my window? Oh wait, that was me.  Just doing a little self burglary folks, gotta be a ninja somehow.

-Love you all

Randomness #5

Before I get random, I first need to tell you that I was unable to directly post my little comics directly to this blog (grr) so I've created a quick photo album: Here's the link: http://looseleaf.myphotoalbum.com/ (NO LONGER ACTIVE)
As of now, it's only got 4 comics on there, but I'll update it approximately every "when I feel like it".

Insomnia is no laughing matter, I've had it from time to time, and it's not fun.  Right now I'm good, don't worry.

How now brown cow?  Why fly in the sky, pie?  Hammer, the slammer, Lammer! (I do know someone named Lammer, nice guy)

I'm still figuring out what INFP means and how it does and doesn't describe me.  It's ironic that the test said I was an introvert (though only barely) because a few years back I took a similar test which called me an extrovert.  Have I really changed that much since being a freshman?  I guess I have noticed a few internal peronality differences since then.  Oh, and I'm also interested because Trocker says she's an INFP too.  (Which is incredible as only about 1-5% of the population turns out to be...)

There's water damage on my ceiling, so if any sentences get cut off suddenly, it means that the roof collapsed on me.  Though in all truth that's not very likely at a

...
Just kidding, thouhg I doubt I really got you, you're WAY to smart for that!  (Except you Norbert)  Is anyone's name actually Norbert?  I personally don't know any, but if you're name is Norbert, leave me a comment, so I can apologize for calling you an idiot.

Trocker!

I hate discrimination, it's really pretty much a waste of time... Except Martians, I discriminate against them every opportunity I get!  Hope I don't get vaporized.  (But seriously Westboros, take a break!  Go outside, take a deep breath, and maybe you'll feel better).

I have an inexplicable fear of cop cars.  Not that I'm any sorta law breaker (though I guess I do speed a bit) and I have no problems with police anywhere else, get along with them  great.  But if I'm driving anywhere at any speed, and I see a policewagon, I start hyperventilating.  And DON'T get me started on those songs on the radio which have sirens in them...  uggggggggh

Jokingly saying "I hate you" is way easier than jokingly saying "I love you", go figure that's it's also the same to say them seriously.

SUPERCAKE!

Randomness #4

How many "randomness" posts am I going to do?  Well, it would beat the purpose of randomness if I decidided on a number beforehand, now wouldn't it!  How often will I do "randomness" posts?  See previous answer.  If you don't like them, well then bummer!

I've got a date with Trocker on Saturday!
I've got a date with Trocker on Saturday!
I've got a date with Trocker on Saturday!
I've got a date with Trocker on Saturday!

Oh, whenever I repeat myself like that, in my mind I am not just repeating it blandly.  I am singing it, which makes a bit more sense.  So if you'd like, you can put it to any fitting tune, and it may clear things up.  Like allergy spray does!!

Dr. Who.  Good show.  Need to catch up a lot on it though I'm afraid, yes indeed.  Netflix? Maybe?

Oh my gosh, he's wearing a fez!!!  You'll notice i didn't use the phrase "Oh my God"... can't say I like that phrase at all.  I'm a religious guy y'see and using God in such a flippant phrase seems a bit... not blasphemous, that's too strong... oh I don't know, tacky maybe?
Likewise, I detest swearing in nearly all cases, it's just a bit cliche, and frankly I guess I'm old fashioned when it comes to vulgarity.  Ok, that's my rant for this post *insert smiley emoticon here*

I could go for a root beer float... or maybe some dark chocolate.  I get random cravings for random foods sometimes (though it's very often Mac 'n Cheese mmm), there's a theory that I must be pregnant (???)... umm, last time I checked, men don't get that way....  I hope...

I've taken to listening to Pandora radio sometimes, usually while doing homework (Chemistry's getting better now!) and in most cases, Pandora plays music I like!  But how come I got a song from the Curious George Songbook when I was listening to the Muse station?  And the other day, the same station kept playing depressing piano music (which I do have some taste for, but it was nearly every other song!!!  That's no good!)

I had a friend who said it was her dream to climb a giraffe's neck and ride on it's head... In most situations I encourage people to follow their dreams, and this is one of the situations.

PWITCHOW! Let's go make some toast!!! Yeah!

Randomness #3

Ya know what's kinda dumb to me?  Well, since I can't hear your guess I'll tell you I suppose.
Fake fruit bowls.... umm, why?... I mean, I guess if you had to choose a food to display, fruit would be the best since it's the most colorful usually... but it's... fake...
I suppose my biggest problem with it is that it's a bait and trick thing... You see fuit, thus you start feeling a bit hungry and hey, there's some fruit! Yum!  You go to grab the fruit and it has LIED TO YOU!!!!  (although frankly I'm more of a veggie man myself)

I like getting pseudo-worked up about things, like the fruit bowl idea.  Do I actually care that much?  No I don't but it was sorta fun to blow off some steam at it for kicks.  I'm actually pretty laid back unless something really ruffles my feathers...

If curiosity killed the cat, but cats have nine lives.... can it safely be curious eight times?  And what was it so curious about that caused it's decease anyway?
My theory:  The dryer  (I went to a barn where they accidentally lost a cat that way... :(   )

    Kio estas amo?

I'm really in the mood for a pizza right now, one of those frozen vareities, but regrettably I'm at work right now AND I have no school today, so I'm working a full time day...  This would be ok if my job was any fun at all (I work in an office, which pays well, but all I do is click buttons and pick up papers from the printer from time to time...)  Mind you, blogging during work isn't cutting into my efficiency because the website I work from takes quite a lot of time to load the next page, so I'm typing while it loads, no worries!

My word for today is Superfluous, which means redundant, but is much more fun to say than redundant...

I recorded my first song with the ukulele, but I'm not gonna put it up until I redo it, because it needs some work.  But here's a spoiler:  The song is about my marching band's colorguard and how dang awesome they are.

(Trocker's in colorguard, but that's coincidence this time)

I'm straight, but have "flamboyant tendencies" as a friend of mine called them... I didn't think so 'til I realized that I kinda want to wear a scarf... weird... but I don't think I will, mainly because I'm too lazy to get one and enough people already ask if I'm gay... (which I would be if I didn't like girls and did like guys, neither of which are true)

Peace in!  As opposed to peace out... makes more sense to me now

Randomness #2

I've been recently informed that someone is actually reading this blog!  I wonder if it's plural someones?  What do I DO?!?!!?   Ohman ohman ohman... cool.

So these past few weeks have been adventurous.  Owned state marching band for the fourth year in a row (every award they've got is ours).  And now I'm done with marching band!  ... Now what?
Biked 32 miles yesterday, still sore, but I felt all accomplishy, so it's all good.  Also went to potentially the best church dance o' my life. because it was just really good.  Side effect: Awkward silences or such now make me think of Abraham Lincoln, I could explain that, but it still wouldn't make any sense.

Ok, here's a slight pet peeve:  I wear a fedora, not to make a statement or anything cool like that, but simply because I like fedoras, and then I don't technically have to comb my hair (which isn't much of a problem since my hair's short anyhow).   People, if you take my hat to be funny/flirty/whatever, that is totally cool, so long as I do not have to chase you down to get it back.  Taking it, and then hiding it is what 7-year-old girls do.  (not actually thinking of anyone in particular here)

Word of the week (month?): Pulchritudinous:   Physically attracive, comely
It's actually an english word!!!!!  Though it's origin is american, so I guess we've dented the english language more than I thought, which is fine by me, I like creativity!  (But if I ever hear the phrase "Speak American" there is a good chance I may run away)

People, hate is bad.  I'm not saying all kinds of hate, it is indeed ok to hate a certain kind of food because it does in fact taste like death, but people are not worth hating.  Even if they are obnoxious twits to you or something, don't degrade yourselves by letting them make you hate them.  It just makes life easier (from my own perspective, which you don't have to share I suppose, march to the beat of your own drummer).

Love y'all

Stupid questions I need answered:
-Where is Waldo RIGHT now?  I need to know!
-How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck Norris?
-Who cares?

The perfect response to any question: FRANCE!!

Not OCD about anything except:
-Word pronunciations
-Realizing that JUST because you don't like something, that doesn't mean it automatically sucks, just that your opinion is different than someone else's (usually)

In truth, most of my family is borderline Obsessive compulsive... EXCEPT ME!!! yay?

Although, having an older brother who IS OCD can be convenient cuz if you give him something to fix/figure out then he will not stop until it is finished... just make sure ya don't give them sudoku books.

I pick up projects and leave them half finished a lot, but that's actually cool because I can then go back to them in a year or so (although I never did learn much of guitar).

Here's a good one:

A trucker pulled into a cafe after a long overnight haul to grab some well deserved breakfast.  The waitress came up and he ordered a big plate of pancakes, another plate of bacon and eggs, and a large glass of apple juice.  He was about to dig in when three tough looking bikers strolled into the diner looking for trouble.
All three looked to the trucker and then sat down at his table.  One of them grabbed his pancakes, another his eggs 'n bacon, and the last one takes his apple juice.  All three then proceeded to eat his food right in front of him!
The trucker just sat calmly through out all of this, payed the tab when the bikers finished, and then left the cafe.
One biker turned to the waitress and said, "He wasn't much of a fighter was he", she replied, "And he was sure in a hurry too!  He just ran over three motorcycles on his way out!"

-Peace out
